id=\"69dd\">\u9999\u6e2f\u4e26\u6c92\u6709\u50cf\u76f4\u5e03\u7f85\u9640\u6216\u5176\u4ed6\u6b96\u6c11\u5730\u822c\u901a\u904e\u516c\u6295\u800c\u6c7a\u5b9a\u547d\u904b\u3002\u4e5f\u8a31\u6709\u4eba\u554f\u70ba\u4f55\u9999\u6e2f\u4eba\u4e0d\u7ad9\u51fa\u4f86\u53cd\u6297\uff1f\u56e0\u70ba\u9999\u6e2f\u4eba\u4e26\u6c92\u6709\u5bb6\u9109\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u3002\u5f9e\u9d09\u7247\u6230\u722d\u5f8c\uff0c\u9999\u6e2f\u9019\u5c0f\u6f01\u6751\u4fbf\u5272\u8b93\u51fa\u4f86\u4e86\u3002\u7531\u53ea\u6709\u539f\u5c45\u6c11\u7684\u5c0f\u6f01\u6751\uff0c\u4eba\u53e3\u56e0\u4e2d\u65e5\u6230\u722d\uff0c\u570b\u5171\u5167\u6230\uff0c\u4e2d\u5171\u903c\u5bb3\u800c\u9003\u4ea1\u5230\u9999\u6e2f\u800c\u589e\u52a0\u3002\u9003\u8d70\u51fa\u4f86\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u5c0d\u81ea\u5df1\u8eab\u4efd\u4e5f\u611f\u5230\u60d8\u7136\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u4e0b\u4e00\u4ee3\u4e5f\u4e0d\u80fd\u80af\u5b9a\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u662f\u90a3\u500b\u6587\u5316\u4e0b\u6210\u9577\uff0c\u7576\u770b\u4f3c\u5b89\u5b9a\u7684\u6642\u5019\u6587\u5316\u5927\u9769\u547d\u4f7f\u9999\u6e2f\u5f15\u767c\u516d\u4e03\u66b4\u52d5\u3002\u662f\u6c11\u570b\u4eba\uff0c\u4f46\u770b\u4f86\u6709\u9ede\u964c\u751f\uff1b\u662f\u4e2d\u570b\u4eba\uff0c\u4f46\u770b\u8d77\u4f86\u4e5f\u683c\u683c\u4e0d\u5165\uff1b\u662f\u9999\u6e2f\u4eba\uff0c\u4f46\u9019\u540d\u7a31\u6709\u9ede\u65b0\u5947\u3002\u7576\u516d\u4e03\u66b4\u52d5\u904e\u5f8c\uff0c\u6e2f\u82f1\u653f\u5e9c\u5c0d\u9999\u6e2f\u4eba\u653f\u7b56\u5927\u9769\u65b0\u3002\u70ba\u4f7f\u5e74\u8f15\u4eba\u597d\u597d\u5b78\u7fd2\uff0c\u628a\u6703\u8003\u540c\u9ad8\u7d1a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u6703\u8003\u8ab2\u7a0b\u96e3\u5ea6\u5927\u5e45\u52a0\u6df1\uff0c\u8457\u91cd\u57f9\u80b2\u4eba\u624d\u3002\u5c31\u7576\u4e00\u5207\u518d\u6b21\u770b\u4f3c\u7a69\u5b9a\uff0c\u5c31\u51fa\u73fe\u4e2d\u82f1\u806f\u5408\u8072\u660e\u3002\u4e00\u4efd\u5c0d\u9999\u6e2f\u4eba\u6c92\u6709\u4fdd\u969c\u7684\u627f\u8afe\uff0c\u6c92\u6709\u5236\u5b9a\u51fa\u82e5\u7136\u4e2d\u5171\u6c92\u6709\u514c\u73fe\u6e2f\u4eba\u6cbb\u6e2f\uff0c\u9ad8\u5ea6\u81ea\u6cbb\u7684\u627f\u8afe\u6703\u6709\u4ec0\u9ebc\u5f8c\u679c\u7684\u9b54\u9b3c\u5408\u7d04\u3002\u6e2f\u82f1\u57f9\u80b2\u51fa\u4f86\u7684\u4e00\u4ee3\u5c31\u9078\u64c7\u7528\u884c\u52d5\u4ee3\u66ff\u90a3\u500b\u88ab\u525d\u596a\u4e86\u7684\u516c\u6295\uff0c\u6084\u6084\u5730\u96e2\u958b\u90a3\u500b\u5c0d\u4ed6\u5011\u90a3\u4e00\u4ee3\u4f86\u8aaa\u719f\u6089\u4f46\u53c8\u7a31\u4e0d\u4e0a\u5bb6\u9109\u7684\u571f\u5730\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"268c\">\u56e0\u70ba\u90a3\u7a2e\u6c92\u6709\u6839\u7684\u611f\u89ba\uff0c\u90a3\u7a2e\u5f9e\u4e0d\u5b89\u5b9a\u7684\u6c1b\u570d\uff0c\u90a3\u5e74\u4ee3\u96e2\u958b\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u8981\u5b88\u8b77\u7684\u53ea\u662f\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u5bb6\u5ead\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u8ca1\u7522\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u5b89\u7a69\u3002\u65bc\u4ed6\u5011\u800c\u8a00\uff0c\u79fb\u6c11\u53ea\u662f\u92ea\u6392\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u524d\u9014\u7f77\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"92e1\">\u4f46\u4e09\u5341\u5e74\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8981\u5b88\u8b77\u7684\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u6b77\u53f2\uff0c\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u4fe1\u5ff5\uff0c\u662f\u4e00\u5957\u6587\u5316\u50f9\u503c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/tag\/%E6%94%BF%E6%B2%BB?source=post_page-----d612dfbaf06f---------------------------------------\"><br><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"6f0b\">One who cannot protect himself saves no one. We left because there are a lot for us to protect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"becb\">The emigration wave from 2019 is not the same as those in the past. In 1997, people left Hong Kong for a contingency plan. This time, people left with complete distrust on Hong Kong\u2019s future. The only thing that never changed is the fear of the CCP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"b8e6\">British rule in Hong Kong ended upon the handover of Hong Kong on 1 July 1997. The history of British Hong Kong started in 1842, yet the PRC only came into existence in 1949. Historically, Hong Kong never belonged to the PRC. The land of Hong Kong produced revolutionists like Sun Yat-sen, Yeung Ku-wan and Chan Siu-bak, not tyrants. Sovereignty was handed over, but there was no return to motherland. Hong Kong, a politically mute city, was given up to a totalitarian nation. We were told it was a historical moment of reunification, but we all knew it was just a mendacious government\u2019s ceremony of victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"b981\">We never had the chance to decide our fate by universal suffrage like Gibraltar or other colonies. Why didn\u2019t we fight? Because we never had a home. The land of Hong Kong was ceded to the British Empire since the Opium War when it was merely a fishing village. The once little fishing village then became a metropolitan filled with people who fled from the Japanese invasion, the Chinese Civil War, and the persecution by the CCP and the Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution. The majority of the population consisted of identity-confused refugees struggling to survive. Soon after they managed to settle their life a bit, they then experienced the massive and lethal 1967 Hong Kong Riots against the British rule. Even categorizing the rioters was not easy for them. Citizens of the Republic of China? Chinese? Or Hong Kongers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"f8ce\">The 1967 Hong Kong Riot was a turning point. The British government drastically changed its policies over the colony with major focus on education. The 70\u2019s and the 80\u2019s were the good old days of the city, and the once little village became the Oriental Pearl. When everything was perfect and the future was so bright, the Hong Kongers were then smashed with the Sino-British Joint Declaration, a diabolic treaty in lack of any kind of protection for Hong Kongers, not to mention any remedial mechanism in the event the promises of \u201cA high degree of autonomy, Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong\u201d are not honoured. Not blessed with the right to vote for the city\u2019s fate, the educated elites then decided to vote with their legs and silently left the land they were so familiar with but were unsure whether it could be called home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"192e\">30 years ago, they left the city to protect their family, their wealth and their security amid the uncertain times. Emigrating to another country was just part of their life planning process.
