Building Bridges Over Bowls of Broth

The Descendants of Victoria City’s (維城後裔) “One-on-One Mentorship Scheme” continues to make a significant impact across the United Kingdom, with its second event in Nottingham demonstrating considerable success. On June 10th, Ramen Hassaku transformed into a vibrant cultural hub, hosting an evening characterised by stimulating conversation and exquisite ramen.

The Nottingham event featured four Hongkongers holding British National (Overseas) status and three enthusiastic local British residents, who convened to share their experiences, establish connections, and cultivate a deeper understanding of one another’s cultures. The tranquil ambience of Ramen Hassaku served as an ideal backdrop for open dialogue and significant exchange.

A participant at the event remarked, “The energy in the room was fantastic.” Furthermore, they added, “It was so valuable to hear different perspectives and learn from one another.””The energy in the room was fantastic,” shared a participant from the event. “It was so valuable to hear different perspectives and learn from one another.”
