鏡花水月一場空離散之地的悲鳴

曾幾何時，我們懷抱著對自由的憧憬，遠走他鄉。卻不料，彼岸並非全然的理想國，反倒充斥著令人扼腕的現實。

近日，有人不惜以低劣手段，在網路上對我惡意中傷，捏造我在講座中散播不實資訊。幸好有知情人士告知，造謠者根本未曾參與講座，可見其用心之險惡。我本不願小題大作，但奈何三人成虎，以訛傳訛，故這次我不得不審慎考慮，對造謠者及散布不實訊息者採取法律行動，以正本清源。

更令人齒冷的是，竟然有所謂籌組「大台」者，對我遭受誣衊一事拍手稱快。然而其手法之粗糙，實在令人啼笑皆非。於此同時，我更替在英港人的處境感到憂心。一個族群，竟被如此熱衷權術、卻又毫無實力的團體所「代表」，彷彿又一次在沒有選擇的餘地下，被強行「代言」。誠如古人所云：「寧為真小人，不為偽君子。」然而此輩，卻是金玉其外，敗絮其中，口蜜腹劍，令人作嘔。

港人的另一重悲哀，莫過於那些自命不凡的「愛國商人」。我在香港的律師事務所 – 翁余阮律師行，恰是其中一例。事務所合夥人見我在英國關注人權議題，便迫不及待地獻媚表忠。或許是合夥人早已老眼昏花，不識香港經濟之凋敝。前些日子，有位「愛國愛港」的客戶親自來到英國與我會面。我原以為他們一家如此熱愛祖國，定當安享香港「由治及興」的盛景。豈料他們卻大吐苦水，說香港早已面目全非，經濟一蹶不振，外資紛紛撤離，銀行也頻頻裁員。表忠本無可厚非，只是不知此舉究竟是為國增光，抑或是徒增笑柄？如今「大台」的行徑，與昔日共產黨如出一轍，甚有文革時期的風聲鶴唳、草木皆兵之感。[註一]昔日大搞批鬥，如今則是在網路上掀起腥風血雨，其手段之卑劣，令人不寒而慄。
遙想當年，共產黨內尚有撥亂反正之士。我的商業夥伴也曾慨嘆：「資本主義是民主的基石。現在這些民主派捨本逐末，拋棄商業而仰賴捐款，豈不是比共產更甚於共產？」(Capitalism doth serve as a fundamental pillar for democracy; however, it hath been observed that members of the so-called pro-Democracy often direct their discourse towards donations rather than striving for the promotion of commercial support. This renders their approach to appear more aligned with communism than with the principles espoused by the Communist Party itself.)

我在此特地引述一位十分關懷港人的英國長者，在 2011 年對我說的話，轉告諸位：英國歡迎你們。香港曾是英國的一部份，融入英國對港人來說並不困難。不論遠近，我們有著相同的信念，就能互相尊重。 ── 換句話說，各位遠道而來的香港朋友們，切莫再抱持著山頭主義的舊思維，在異地重蹈覆轍。這裡不是你爭我奪的角力場，請自重。

身為離鄉背井的香港人，我們本想尋找一方淨土，安身立命。然而，如今所見所聞，卻盡是令人失望之景。願我們港人，能於逆境之中堅守本心，不忘初心，方能在異鄉之地，覓得一絲慰藉。

註一：中共中央於1981年發佈《關於建國以來黨的若干歷史問題的決議》，正式承認文化大革命是一場由領導者錯誤發動，被反革命集團所利用，給黨、國家和各族人民帶來嚴重災難的內亂。
